Hi there! I’m Liz, a UX designer living in Brooklyn, NY. I have 10+ years of experience managing design projects in the physical world, and recently transitioned into the digital space with an education in Product Design from DesignLab’s UX Academy.

My goal with any project is to build intuitive digital experiences by harnessing learnings from the familiar physical, analog world to limit cognitive load for users and allow them to focus on their task at hand.

A key characteristic of mine is empathy. Throughout my career managing teams and balancing design priorities, I always lead with empathy and seek out different perspectives. This has allowed me to host comfortable yet structured user interviews and has resulted in a deep understanding of key personas and their mental models. I believe this is the foundation of a successful product design project, and the big differentiator in digital design vs UX design.

I am happy to work on a singular feature or full-scale design, and always think holistically regardless of the scope. Everything is part of something bigger, and it’s important to think about how it all fits together to support business goals.

Looking ahead, I am excited to be involved in all phases of UX design from defining the problem and user personas, to building site maps, user flows, and wireframes. I would love to join a small, collaborative team of designers from a variety of backgrounds with a shared goal of executing unique and intuitive digital experiences together.
